Sometimes what your soul desires is that you give up something that you may have thought was working for you...or at least it was working for your ego.
 
Letting go of something that you have loved is difficult, to say the least. Even fully understanding that this thing that you have loved is actually working against you, it can be difficult to let go of it. We become attached so easily and, the longer we are attached, the more challenging the letting go can be.

But pay attention to your heart, pay close attention. And pay attention to your soul. There is more to life than just this moment but the best way to make use of that is to pay close attention to this moment and to act in the integrity of the now.
