When I was a kid - so, a long time ago - there was a popular visual metaphor that was used in cartoons that would depict a person caught in the middle of an argument between an angel sitting on his one shoulder and a devil sitting on his other.

Today, you may find yourself caught in just such a predicament, drawn to act in one way yet strongly guided to behave in another.

No advice from me on which way to go! Your path is your path. Far be it from me to tell you to take the high road, because sometimes there's a lot to learn on the other one. And you'll get where you're going regardless.

Just know that you may feel that pull and make the best decision you can under the circumstances. You will, after all, have to live with the results of your decision for some time thereafter.
