Son Wood / XII Service

In old tarot decks XII is the Hanged Man, an image so far from anything we know in our lives today that I did what I try to always do and cut right to the chase, hoping to capture the essence of the card: Service.
There are times, even though everything in our lives is always about us, that it certainly doesn't seem to be. There are times when we are called upon to put our wants and our desires aside and lend a hand. Today may be one of those days.
The nice thing about today, for the self-centered among us, is that we will get the chance to help out on our own terms. (We like that.)
That's what the Son of Wood is all about. He wants to help, he really does, but he can't see past his own desires enough to really embrace someone else's. But he wants to help...and he will, by George. Just hand him that chain saw!
And today, that's OK. Really. Today you are needed just the way you are. Understand that and just pitch in.
