Once upon a time there was an advertisement that generated a phrase that became part of common parlance. "You can't fool Mother Nature."

And you can't. Don't bother trying.

So whatever it is that you've been pushing at, holding up,or making work by the sheer dint of your will...you might as well just stop. And if you're wise, you'll stop today because there's some indication that it may all come tumbling down on top of you in an "I wonder what I'm supposed to learn from this" kind of a way.

Because what you will have been supposed to learn is something you already know.
