We accomplish what we accomplish in the world because we put our minds to it, because we persist. But we also accomplish what we accomplish in the world because we have chosen well - the time is right, the world is ready, the idea is timely.

When we make choices based on the desires or illusions of the ego and not on a response to what both we and the world are ready for, we fail. We may learn something in the process but we will likely have wasted a lot of time, thought and possibly money along the way. That time, thought and money becomes the price paid for the lesson learned.

Take today to give some thought to what you are investing in. Is it the right time for this? Have you got enough support - emotionally and financially - for this? You may want to talk to someone completely outside of your situation to get an objective view. As it is said so often in the I Ching: it is prudent to consult with a wise man.
