9 Fire / 2 Water
It must be a penultimate kind of a day. The first thing I noticed about this reading was the whole fire/water thing. Then I realized that we also had a 2 and a 9. 2+9=11, a master number. But more than that even, for 2 is one step after the beginning, and 9, is one step before the end. There's an inherent beauty and balance there and it's in the simple things.
This is a day when intimate conversation can yield comforting results.
That intimate conversation might be internal, between aspects of your self, or it might be external. For me, so far, it has been internal and it started almost immediately, coming in the last moments of my yoga practice. It was subtle and deep and sudden, as water can be. It warmed my heart and my soul and my bones, like a campfire on a cool night. And it yielded an orison that goes like this: Let me be humble; let me be simple; let me be who I need to be where I need to be when I need to be there; and let me be at peace in the world.
May your day grant you equal grace.

I woke this morning from a 'traveling' dream, one where I had contact with someone I love that used to be a friend. I was able to communicate clearly, and from the heart. I asked if we could be friends again, and didn't hear his reply. He was involved with someone, but made some sort of proposal to me, then had to go away. Months later in the dream (Dec), after not having heard from him in awhile, another friend brought to me a small red and white package containing a Christmas ornament from him. This is most significant in that neither of us is Christian, so it really stood out. It contained a circular, open pendant.
At first I thought it was a snowflake, then a pentacle. Finally I realized it was a peace sign. I put it around my neck, smiled and woke up.
Such as nice way to be in the day.
