10 Fire / Water Sister

To the extent that you have committed to an exploration of the feelings you are having, you will be inspired.
The world is full of talk about the Mind-Body connection, but what I'm talking about, what I am committed to, is exploring the Spirit-Body connection because that is a delicious mystery.
The mind, as little as we know about how it really works, is as known to us, as friendly and as useful, as a pet dog or cat. If we are even a little clever and we are persistent, we can have some control over it. Spirit, on the other hand, has control over us.
The people you see who are comfortable in their lives, regardless of what their lives may seem to be to someone who is not them, they have found out what their Spirit wants of them and they are living it. Long term struggle, fuss, frustration and disappointment are characteristics of a disconnect between Spirit and Self.
The body, in it's innocence, is the perfect companion for Spirit, it's perfect resting place. Body and Spirit work hand-in-hand. And feelings are the language of the body. Hence, the more you respond to the feelings your body is having, the more closely you align with your Spirit.
It is an art, feeling what you feel. Most of us are trained from early childhood not to respond to what we feel. We are told to wear a coat when we feel quite comfortable. We are told that it is not grown-up to cry. We are told that dreams are not real. The list goes on. And so most of us have to re-learn listening to our bodies.
Listen today, and allow your Spirit self to imbue in you the stuff of your finest dreams.
You are waiting.

I really enjoy the wisdom you impart through these daily post. Your description here of the distinction between controlling mind and allowing spirit to have dominion in the body is beautiful and very useful. Feelings are so important. Thank you!
