2 Fire / Fire Father

Let it simmer.
Whatever it is that you are planning or dreaming of, whatever it is that you have been inspired to do, give it at least a few days to rest. Let all the elements comingle. Let this have some time to grow itself within you.
The moon is nearing new, waned away to almost nothing. So, while your ideas may burn bright, they will burn brighter after the moon turns course on Monday. Meanwhile, feed your flame gently. No boiling. No feeding the masses before the meal is ready.
There is something left to learn.

Can you let me know what the juxtaposition of the two cards means, and how this influences your interpretation or sense of meaning?
Thank you, I do love these.

Every day I utilize the same format for pulling the cards, ending up with one card - the second one in the title - as the foundation for the reading and the other card as the energy around interacting with that foundation.
What you can't see is if the cards are "in agreement" with each other. When both cards are facing the same direction, either both right side up or both upside down, they are considered to be in agreement. When one is up and the other is down, they 'disagree.'
I do not include that information as, for most people, the idea of 'disagreement' carries a negative connotation, but there is none implied. The cards 'disagree' in the same kind of a way that pickles and candied violets might disagree. Just something a little off.
This agreement/disagreement factor allows me to gage still more subtleties of interaction between the two.
Since the potential meanings for each card are many, I rely on my intuition for the interpretation of the day. Two weeks later, the same two cards might yield a different reading.
Thanks for asking a valuable question!
