10 Metal / XI Karma

In traditional tarot decks the XI card is called Justice, (or sometimes, Strength, depending on the system and on who is trying to hide what). When I created this deck it was my goal to eliminate the machinations of man - politics, religion, caste systems - from the deck so that it could as closely as possible reflect the actions of the earth. The concept of Justice is, was, and likely always will be, one of man's most arrogant endeavors. It is man's attempt to balance the scales. The issue is, of course, that it's humans doing the balancing. As objective as we would like to be, we cannot know what we are not allowed access to so our Justice can never be what Karma, by nature, is.
Justice punishes. Karma does not. Karma, like the earth, simply is. Justice rewards. Karma does not. Karma is the overall balance of actions taken and given in every lifetime in which a person exists.
Linear time is a convenient convention. It is not, however, real. We have no past lives; we have no future lives. We have today. We have this moment. And this moment exists infinitely. Consequently all of our lives exist at once. That is why some of the more sensitive of us can acutely feel what is happening in our alternate lives, because it is happening at this same moment.
So....today. Today we are offered the opportunity to do something that will be neutral karmicaly (this word is not in spell check, not in my dictionary...if you know how to spell it better than I have, please let me know!). I know this sounds dull beyond belief, but I promise you, it isn't! It's very peaceful.
This day you have the opportunity to create an energy that will rebound and reflect through your other lifetimes as an oasis of peace. A place on which you can, for a moment, stand firm and secure in yourself.
Use the day wisely. All your other lifetimes will thank you for it.

The 26th was my birthday and it was lovely from 12:30am on- I got to sleep in my neighbors arms all night and he made me breakfast in the morning, and than a quiet day sewing and then they took me 4 wheeling which was great cause I'd never done that before and than I had a great conversation with a girlfriend back in CA and went to get my kiddo who had, with my mom's help made a birthday cake for me and we had a peaceful and happy time with them, and I was content! It was a lovely day!.
