VII Chariot / XII Service

You know how it is, there you are, minding your own business, happy as a clam, (Really? They don't look all that happy...oh well.), when you are called upon to step outside the realm of minding-your-own-business and into the realm of lending a hand when you really would rather be doing what you were doing before you looked like somebody else's idea of someone who could be useful.
Offering your services is a risky business. Are you doing it because help is really needed or because you really need to help? The phrase, no good deed goes unpunished, exists for a reason. When your motives are less than pure, results are often less than pure as well.
Responding to a call for assistance, though, is much more clear. Not that you don't have to weigh things, certainly you do. Does the person really need help? Are you the best person to help? Are you capable of doing what needs to be done? You have a chance of being objective when you answer these questions.
Today, if you are needed, if you are called upon for assistance, you can know that this is coming from some higher level of connection. If you feel conflicted, or disinclined, get yourself over it and get down to business regardless of the inconvenience. This story has already been written.
