Some of the images on these cards are more perfect than others. The six of Water is an example of perfection. In it's reversed position it is a soft edged reflection of itself in an upright position and in that respect it is nostalgia embodied, the six of Water reversed.

Nostalgia is fine, for a minute or two. It is no place to dwell for it is not real. Nostalgia is an old feeling called back to the surface. It will not take you forward. It could, however, if indulged in moderation, inspire you to get up and do something for yourself that will take you forward.

If you can let a brief nostalgic moment inspire you to get up and do something, something that will so engage you in the present that there is no need to look back, then you have done well. You will have brought light out of the darkness and into your life.

So go, create a new day, inspired by the best that is in you but entirely original.
