IX The Hermit / 3 Fire
There is a strong pull today, away from the crowd. This may feel odd for the many who view this day as one of family celebration. But pay attention. Something is calling out from inside and demands that you look inward.
Take a little time away and sit with yourself. Leave a space in your mind that is open, just open. And see what comes in.

Not being a Christian, I really have no desire to do the birth of Christ celebration, and yet am pulled to do meditation and solitary practices. Unfortunately, we have family coming over and I'm on entertainment and clean-up committee.
After reading this, I've decided to express that I will be taking my leave early, and retiring to my room.
