Mothers are about nurturing. If you were well mothered, you should have a comfortable life. You should have enough or at the very least, figured out how to feel as if you have enough. That's because mothers, quite literally, grow us.

With fathers the situation is far more subtle. fathers end up being all about self confidence. That's because fathers have a choice. And we have a choice too. The way that we interpret our father's response to us pretty much determines our response to the rest of the world.

Some of us are fortunate, we actually are the Earth Daughters of Air Fathers. Earth Daughters (be they men or women) go out into the world and, with grace, make things happen. They grow businesses or they grow trees or they grow children and they are innately good at it. They are happy and successful in a way that seems to the rest of us to be almost effortless.

Some of, though, have to work at that. We have to confront our relationship to our father, sort it out, and slough off the dross in order to embrace the divine. It takes longer for us. But we can get there! And today is a day be on the look out  for clues in your everyday life that can show you why you are where you are...and then, to move on that information!

You have the potential. You know you do. Use this day to drop some of whatever has been holding you back. Embrace the fullness of your creative powers!
