Apparently you've had a hold of the wheel just a little too long, now it's Spirit's turn to drive and you've been reluctant to turn over the wheel.

Best to pull over to the side and gratefully relinquish what you have been hanging onto for so long so that Spirit can take over the journey for a while or else you could be looking at something you'd really rather not be looking at.
