All of us are multi-faceted beings. Each of us has a male side, a female side, a child of every age, a mother figure, a father figure...I could go on and on and on with the list. Suffice it to say that conflict between facets happens and can even stand in the way of what we feel to be progress. If the mother in you wants to take on something that will require you to give of yourself while the obstinate twelve year old you carry within is jealous of the possibility of time taken away him or her, you will find yourself spinning your wheels or procrastinating and being critical of yourself because you never seem to do what you set out to do.

Take some time today to get quiet and allow a space within yourself for integration. These many parts of you may come from very different places, but they have something in common - you. The different aspects of you make you the complex and interesting person that you are. If all of them went the same way all the time you would be dull indeed! Sometimes, however, exactly as you are needing their cooperation, they can step on each others toes and slow everything down. So today, simply send your intention into the clear space you create that all of your facets find a common ground from which they can progress together when needed.
