Wood Son / Water Father

These are two of my favorite cards in the Sacred Earth Seven Element deck. Father Water not only for the obvious aesthetic reasons but because as a male energy in a female suit, as a human being in an aquatic environment, this man has managed, though out of his element, to be functioning really well in it. Mind you, he's not showing you his face so there's a level of not knowing what's going on beneath the surface but it sure doesn't look bad on the surface. Water Father is the seducer and the nurturing father all rolled into one very attractive package. And we've all got a little of that in us.
Wood Son, also a male energy in a female suit, also with his face turned away for that reason, never actually tries to hide his goals. This is a man with a purpose...well, a porpoise actually, and when you told him that what you'd really like was a nice sculpture of a porpoise, you never expected...this! Wood Son wants to help. He really, really, really does but he's going to help his way.
So here we have wood supporting water, two elements that are comfortable together but should be the other way around, with water supporting wood, because that's the cycle, water nourishes the trees. And we have the Son supporting the Father, also upside down in their relationship to each other.
So be on the lookout today for possibly being a little full of yourself, possibly putting the horse before the carriage, possibly getting in over your head because your head was on a trip of its own. Not a bad day, just maybe a silly one or one you have to make apologies for later. But if you just pay attention you can easily override this energy because its origination is within you!
