Great love can bring great sadness. Great joy can bring the let down that follows. Both can bring memories that allow you to make the choice...where do I dwell? Do I sit in the sadness or do I cherish the love? Do I wallow in feeling dejected or do I revel in the fact that I was there once?

Power was out in the hills this morning rendering the magic of the cloud that sat on us even more precious in the extreme silence only recently broken by the restoration of electricity.

In the extreme quiet I did this card reading to post when we were back on the grid and  I did my yoga, interrupted by a flurry of the earth spirits from under and around the house bringing me knowledge about their energy, the energy of the Earth and the Universe and my role in being here.

I certainly never expected that. Such revelations come to me only every few years so I'm guessing that it's just that kind of day.
