Fire Leading / Supporting

Fire -.(male) - The aspect of us that expresses the Spirit Self - Passion, Inspiration

Leading to Earth- the material world and all that it entails including the business of survival and therefore money and the well being of the physical body - Fire gives birth to the Earth, as volcanoes spew lava and create new land but the Earth also holds that Fire within her, in some senses giving birth to it. This is a powerfully symbiotic  and potentially passionate relationship. (female)

Leading to Metal  - Will Power - the expression of mental abilities for a purpose - male/male match up and comfortable in that way - Fire melts Metal - That melting can be useful, as in the shaping of something; devastating, as in a total meltdown; or informative, as in being inspired. (male)

Leading to Water - Feelings, all sorts - This is almost always a dynamic relationship, even when the two elements are working well together for Fire and Water are the elements that hold the most potential for damage. In the Asian tradition, both are considered to be "dangerous," so the potential for subtle interactions must always be considered when these two get together. The mature Fire and Water (Nines and Tens), operating from somewhat of a comfort zone, usually compliment each other nicely. (female)

Leading to Wood - personal growth, nurturing - Wood fuels Fire but in doing so, of course, it is consumed. Wood is like Fire's grandmother, giving and giving before she herself goes. So it is an easy combination elementally...for Fire. It may be challenging for Wood, trying to keep up.The demands of the Spirit Self often put us outside our comfort zone. (female)

Leading to Air - the Mind, the Intellect - Air and Fire have a relationship that is dependent on Fire having the upper hand if it wants to last. Just the right amount of Air feeds the Fire, too much and it blows it out. When the Spirit Self (Fire) speaks, too much Intellect (Air) can drown it out. (male)

Leading to Fire- the energy of your Spirit Self - inspiration, philosophy, the expression of the heart in the world, often as work - All elements are sympathetic to their family members but too much of any one element can sometimes indicate a balance issue. (male)

And then we start again....Aether - That which is larger than all we know - The flow we are often advised to go with - Aether supported by Fire is a beautiful match (no pun intended) and usually a good indication that everything is going as it should.
