X Time

So freakin' funny...cannot believe that I almost didn't post this because I was thrown off by...yup...the time change.

I hate the damn time change. I wish they would just leave it alone. Granted, time is nothing but an artificial construct invented to help us all maintain some order in our lives, but hey! We get used to it. Let it be!

Meanwhile, Time, in the tarot sense. Major Arcana card X, FKA The Wheel of Fortune.

Now why would I go and mess with that? Because I could. And because there's a real serious implication in The Wheel of Fortune that somebody else is spinning the wheel, that we have no say in what happens in our lives and that's just not so. So I couldn't let it be (but I won't be changing it back in five or six months, I promise.)

And, bottom line, all it comes down to is what happens as time passes, things change. It's that simple. Don't get too attached to where you are or what you are doing or even who you are because none of this will stay the same. That's life. So when X shows up, it does so to remind you of the Buddhist precept of non-attachment and possibly to suggest that you pack your bags because you'll soon be moving again.
