Today, a 13 Sun day on the Mayan calendar, marks the turning point at which we move from what Ian Xel Lungold refers to as The Galactic Consciousness into what he terms The Universal Consciousness. I find it, shall we say, interesting that XIX, The Sun itself, XX, The World and III, The Universal Mother all showed up this morning to mark the event. They've showed up flipped, in positions of past and present potential, acknowledging, I think, in light of all the male energy present - the Fathers Metal and Air and the seven of Fire - that this whole experience of life on Earth is what we make it.

Male energy - had you noticed? - wants to do, to fix, to make things happen. Male energy has dominated the development of consciouness on this planet since it first conceptualized that it wasn't really in charge...and that because it was both big and strong, it could pretty much do what it darn well pleased. Look around and see where that's gotten us.

That said, there's always room for en-light-enment...and that's what's happening now and will continue to escalate for as long as it takes to restore balance to a world where for thousands of years men have been setting themselves up as gods, as "Sun Kings," as the center of a Universe that has, thank you very much, a center of its own.

Sevens are all about restructuring, about taking what works and making it work better by throwing out or reconfiguring what doesn't work. And Father Air, well, he is the Mind at its very best, aware that its function is, while critical, no more 'important' than the functions of the Body, the Heart, the Soul and Life itself.
