SEVEN

3 + 4 = 7. Three, the number of merging, of Two becoming one and in so doing creating a third thing with its own integrity, plus Four, the number of solidity, of foundation, come together here at Seven to say, "Look, I know that what we've got is good, is solid, will work the way it is, but what if...." Seven questions the beauty and the perfection of the Six it follows. Why? Because questions are important. Because the possibility of better always exists because possibility always exists. Seven is Spirit nudging you.

Water : Feelings can be fleeting things, they can also be things you just can't shake no matter how hard you try. Feelings can change from one moment to the next, one day to the next or they can spend the rest of your life coloring every decision you make.A geyser looks intriguing, but it's hot, hot, hot. What you see can deceive you.
Water Seven is a powerfully seductive force that  makes you wonder, that leads you to be unsure...and that's not a bad thing. When Water Seven shows up, take time to consider your feelings and how they are influencing you. This is not to say that your feelings don't need to be recognized for their validity...when they are valid. But where are they coming from? Are they valid? Or might they be no more than old, outdated, childhood programming?

Wood : We all need some alone time. It's difficult to make personal change when you are constantly caught up in the chaos of everyday life. You cannot question your Self if you cannot even hear yourself think. Wood Seven suggests that some down time, or at least some space, may be required to ensure a needed transformation.

Air : The MInd is all about questions; seven is at home here. Just be cautious that you don't get swept away or lost in the games the Mind can play.

Fire : Spirit is at home with questions too and a lot more reliable than the Mind. While Air may just generate question after question after question, eventually degenerating into a constant chatter, a Fire question will simply pop into your consciousness, unbidden, all by itself, alone and tend to bring with it the answer it would like to to become aware of. So when Fire Seven shows up, an answer may soon follow it.

Earth : Earth is not so comfortable with questioning things. Earth likes everything to be reliable, predictable, and Seven just isn't. When Seven finds itself in the suit of Earth, it tends to feel kind of useless, as if it hasn't got a chance of making the changes that may need to be made...but it can...though change will follow only slowly. That's Earth for you, slow and steady, but it will get where it needs to go, one way or another, the answer perhaps not looking quite as you might have expected.

Metal : Metal, too, is kind of steadfast but it's never as set in its way as Earth is. Metal can be bent, molded, melted; that's its nature. So Seven works well her and is strong in Metal, implying that if you'll only ask the questions that need asking, you'll be well on your way to where you want to go.

Aether : VII  The Chariot : In older tarot decks, The Chariot card often pictures a man 'driving' a chariot, but his hands hold no reins and his face is often covered so that he cannot see; sometimes his 'horses' are not even real. The Charioteer has surrendered his questions to the answers held by the chariot in which he rides. The vehicle knows where it is going.  The card is, after all, called The Chariot, not The Charioteer.
This is the card that recognizes that we, as Spirit in the material world, are best off when we allow our chariots - our bodies - to make decisions for us.
Spirit is not really of this world, but only in it; the Body, which actually is of this world, is best equipped to make decisions about it. Our task as embodied spirits, is to learn to sit back and let the Body lead the way, to let the Body answer the questions which arise and to let go of the investment we have in the calculating device we call a Mind that our Spirits may shine through and celebrate simply being alive in a human form.
